Introduction
The You can use file hosting service Dropbox provides IGB users a quick and easy way to share IGB Quickload sites with their colleagues and collaborators over the cloud. Please follow the instructions below to properly set up your Quickload site within a Dropbox folder.. To use Dropbox as a QuickLoad site:
1) Follow the guidelines found on the Creating QuickLoad Sites page of the IGB User's Guide to create an IGB Quickload directory. Before uploading the Quickload to Create QuickLoad folders and files as described in Sharing data using QuickLoad sites. Before moving your new site to your Dropbox, ensure that your Quickload works correctly by adding it as a data source on your local machine.
2) Place your created Quickload directory into the Copy your QuickLoad folder into your Public Dropbox folder.
3) Go into Open the Quickload QuickLoad folder and click on select the contents.txt file. (You should then see an option to Copy public link...)
4) Click on Select Copy public link… and then select Copy to Clipboard.

This will open the Data Sources tab within IGB Preferences.
6) Click the Add… button .and enter:
- For Under name, enter whatever you want this server to be (Dropbox Quickload_Genome_Species, etc.).For called within your IGB
- Unde type, leave as Quickload.
- For Under URL:, paste the Public Link you copied from Dropbox. Then, delete "contents.txt" from the link.

7) Hit Enter Submit.
You should then be told that see a message stating your data is are now available.
8) Your data If you added a new species and genome, then these should now be available under in the Species Menu.
