To view a Galaxy file in IGB:

  1. Start IGB.
  2. In your Galaxy History, click on the title of the dataset you'd like to view.
    1. Note: IGB supports multiple file formats in both compressed and uncompressed formats. See File Formats for more details.
  3. Click the Charts icon.
  4. Click View next to display in IGB.


Clicking View opens a new Web browser page at BioViz like this: 

This is the BioViz-to-Galaxy bridge page. It contains JavaScript code that helps IGB make a new track from your Galaxy file.


Go back to IGB to view your data. You will see a new entry in the Available Data section of the Data Access tab as well as a new (empty) track in the main view. When you see the new track, zoom in and click Load Data.

Note: IGB may show a message asking you to accept a certificate from the Galaxy site. Click Accept to continue loading data.
