To quickly view your genomic data in IGB:
- Sign in to connect.bioviz.org
- Navigate to your data or upload a file using the ‘+New’ button
- (Optional) To customize the file’s view within IGB:
- Right click on the file and choose ‘Metadata’
- Choose a file’s species and genome version
- Set a foreground and background color when displaying the track
- Give the track a name
- Add any additional comments
- To make this file viewable in IGB:
- Right click on the file and choose ‘Manage Link’
- Choose ‘Make Public Link’
- If the file type is supported by IGB, a button ‘View in IGB’ will be visible next to the track name.
- Open IGB on your computer. It is available to download at bioviz.org
- Click ‘View in IGB’.
- Your file will open in IGB as a new Track.
