Run IGB from the command line

To run IGB at the command line, download the latest release (igb.zip) from http://sourceforge.net/projects/genoviz/.

Uncompress igb.zip to make a new directory igb which contains the igb_exe.jar, which you can run at the command line.

The following command runs IGB with 1 Gb of RAM.

$ java -Xmx1g -jar igb_exe.jar [IGB options]
