iPlant Atmosphere offers a nifty way you can run IGB on a virtual machine hosted at iPlant. To make this image, I logged into iPlant, requested a new virtual machine, and then used VNC to log into the new VM instance. From there, I just downloaded and launch IGB just as I would do on my local machine. What's great about this is that now I can use IGB to access files I make in the iPlant DE or just by running tools on the VM, which is Unix. And I can also load data from the IGBQuickLoad site in the usual way. The data sets shown here come from an RNASeq experiment hosted on the IGBQuickLoad site at UNC Charlotte.
