Step 2: Choose your species and genome version
1. IGB opens withe 2 ways allows you to access the species and the genomes version you are interested in two ways. You can scroll through and click on the picture of the species you are interested in common model species from the main screen (red box). These links take you ; click the picture to be taken to the most recently published version of the genome for that speciesrecent genome version. You can also use select the Species and the Genome Version from the options (blue box) to navigate access the whole species list and as well as access any publicly available genome version (including older ones). If your genome of interest is not listed, leave it set to 'Unknown Species' and 'Unknown genome.'
